BARK, A Rescue Pub is proud to announce the promotion of Kory Schimanski to head chef. In this new position, he will lead kitchen operations, menu implementation and provide a creative culinary direction for the restaurant. Schimanski most recently held the sous chef position at BARK, A Rescue Pub.
A Spokane native and culinary wizard, Kory Schimanski has showcased his skills at well-respected restaurants in the area including Luna, Vin Rouge, Vintages and Clover. He credits his mentors in his career to have shaped him into the chef he is today. “I’ve been with BARK for a year now and I’m excited to share the skills that were taught to me with the incredible, eager team we have. I can’t wait to see what this group can do in the future,” says Schimanski.
