FAQ

What is a rescue pub? Can that even be a thing? What can we expect?

Frequently Asked Questions

Do the animals live on site?

Yes! Anywhere from 4 to 8 dogs and 4 to 8 cats live on site in our separate but accessible shelter area. The animals have their own team of caretakers to make sure their short stay with us is enjoyable before they find their forever home.

Can we adopt one of the animals?

Absolutely! That is why the animals are here! We partner with the Spokane Humane Society to be an extension of their great work in the region.

Can we play with the animals?

They would love that! The cats live in a separate cat room where you can hang with them and play with them too. The dogs can be brought out to play with. You can even take them forĀ  walk and we have a separate puppy play room so you can get to know their personalities before you adopt them?

Can we bring our dogs?

The Spokane Regional Health Department does not allow animals at a food and drinking establishment. We can, however, arrange a meet and greet with your dog or cat and one of our adoptable animals to ensure a good fit.

What are adoptions fees?

Adoptions are arranged in partnership with the Spokane Humane Society and the fees will be in accordance with their process. We will post specific adoption fees on this site when we open.

What kind of food and beverage will Bark have?

Bark, A Rescue Pub will have an elevated pub style menu with signature burgers, sandwiches, entrees and appetizers. We want a dining experience that you will come back to time and again. Bark also boasts a full liquor bar with signature cocktails and drinks along with 38 taps of beer, cider, seltzer, wine and more!

When will Bark be open?
